Botany is a branch of biological science that deals with the study of plants. Botany studies the structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, development, diseases and chemical properties and evolutionary relationships between different groups of plants. It has studied more than three hundred thousand species of plants, ranging from ground mosses to giant trees. Botany as a career is considered best for those people who have a fascination for nature and plants.

A botanist plays an important role in modern science and industry. Botanical studies have helped in the development of many drugs and drugs that are extracted from plants and are actually helpful in fighting many diseases. It also help in the production of  plants which provide natural raw materials like cotton, rubber, paper, silk, vegetable, oils etc. In such a circumstances, if you want to understand it deeply by staying close to nature, then you can see a bright future in botany .

Many geologists do field work at least part of the time. Others spend their time in laboratories, classrooms or offices. All geologists prepare reports, do calculations and use computers.Although a bachelor's degree is required for entry-level employment, many geologists earn master's and/or doctorate degrees. The advanced degrees provide a higher level of training, often in a geology speciality area such as paleontology, mineralogy, hydrology, or volcanology. Advanced degrees will often qualify the geologist for supervisory positions, research assignments, or teaching positions at the university level. These are some of the most sought-after jobs in the field of geology.Employment opportunities for geologists are very good. Most geology graduates with a strong academic background and good grades have no trouble finding employment if they are willing to move to a location where work is available Some job options are given below:
